In an effort to secure your safety we will implement a couple of easy to follow guidelines while on tour to give you peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying your trip.

Although we will go to every effort for your safety we will be sure to balance safety with practicality and the enjoyment of your holiday to not ruin your long awaited trip to Africa.

Good hygiene: While on tour our guides will promote good hygiene and remind you to regularly wash your hands. The Drifters Adventure Tours truck will also be cleaned and wiped down daily for your safety.

Big spacious vehicles: The Drifters Adventure Tours trucks offer guests ample leg room which means plenty of space between seats. All vehicles are private and will only be used for one group of travelers on a specific tour at a time. Guests will be required to pick one seat for the day and stick to it.

Trained and qualified guides: All our guides are trained in First aid to offer emergency assistance where needed. As an additional benefit to our guests Drifters Adventure Tours is part of SATIB 24 Emergency assist. This means we have 24 hour emergency assistance from trained professionals on any tour for all our guests. (All guests are required to have comprehensive travel insurance)

Small Lodges and hotels: In an effort to offer our guests a true authentic experience we only make use of small and privately owned lodges and hotels that are not part of big international groups. This not only supports local industry in each destination we visit but also limits the amount of people we encounter at each property. Guests on tour will also have the opportunity to pre-book single rooms or tents should they prefer.

Please note, we are guided by local governments and the industry as to the protocols required to travel in each destination. We will adapt and update the guidelines above as needed and required.
